Job Description
Monotype Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the position of Information Security Trainee in Noida. This opportunity is open to freshers as well as experienced candidates with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or an equivalent field. The role is focused on information security investigations, breach response, security monitoring, vulnerability analysis, malware remediation, configuration auditing and cybersecurity operations. Monotype is also willing to hire candidates without prior experience and provide training for the position. Roles and Responsibilities
- Security Investigations: Perform security investigations and analyze information from multiple sources; Analyze threat intelligence and place information into the appropriate context; Identify vulnerabilities and assess potential exploitation risks; Analyze the activities and capabilities of cyber criminals or foreign intelligence entities; Produce findings that may support security investigations and related activities.
- Incident Response: Respond to crisis or urgent security situations and help mitigate immediate threats; Support preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery activities related to information security; Investigate and analyze relevant response activities; Support breach-response activities and security monitoring infrastructure.
- Remediation & Auditing: Assist IT teams with malware remediation; Assist with configuration auditing of networks and operating systems.
- Coordination: Coordinate with internal technical teams and technology vendors when required.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or an equivalent discipline (B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc).
Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Information Security (understanding of fundamental security principles, threats and controls)
- Network Security (basic understanding of concepts and configurations)
- Systems Security (familiarity with operating-system security and configuration auditing)
- Application Security (awareness of application vulnerabilities and security risks)
- Cloud Security (understanding of cloud security concepts, particularly AWS)
- Threat Analysis (ability to analyze information from multiple sources and identify potential threats)
- Vulnerability Analysis (understanding common vulnerability concepts and basic risk assessment)
- Incident and Breach Response (ability to investigate, coordinate, mitigate, recover)
- Malware Remediation (identifying, containment, restoring affected systems)
- Configuration Auditing (identifying security weaknesses in devices/OS)
