Job Description
Netsmart Recruitment 2026 is hiring for a Software Engineer position in Bengaluru, India. This is a full-time software engineering opportunity for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience who have knowledge of programming, relational databases, SQL scripting and cloud-based SaaS architectures. The Software Engineer will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, development, testing and deployment. The role also involves root cause analysis, code reviews, technical problem-solving and supporting software solutions for business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, planning, software design, development, testing and deployment.
- Solution Building: Design, build and produce software solutions with support and guidance.
- Domain Knowledge: Build knowledge of relevant clinical and financial workflows and apply that knowledge in day-to-day work.
- Testing & Analysis: Run software tests, review results and perform root cause analysis to identify problems.
- Code Review: Participate in project code reviews and provide technical input.
- Technical Solutions: Identify, implement and support technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Tool Adoption: Explore and adopt new tools to analyze and solve technical problems.
- Quality Assurance: Support assigned software engineering tasks while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- On-Call Support: Be available outside standard business hours when required as part of a rotational on-call schedule.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A technical internship with a software company or healthcare organization is listed as a preferred qualification.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
