Job Description
This entry-level engineering position is built for freshers and early-career technical professionals looking to manage, design, and scale large-scale cloud and enterprise networks across global data centers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Network Operations: Support day-to-day operations across enterprise and data center networks using standard runbooks.
- Deployments & Changes: Assist in implementing and validating network configuration changes and new architecture designs in live production environments.
- System Maintenance (LODO): Perform routine maintenance operations, including software upgrades, resource patching, failover testing, and network health audits.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor intake channels, troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, gather diagnostic logs, and escalate complex incidents as required.
- Documentation: Help maintain accurate network diagrams, technical runbooks, and infrastructure documentation.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of hands-on technical exposure in network engineering, infrastructure support, or a related technical role.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, or PowerShell)
- Certifications: Foundational industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Arista ACE Level 1, AWS Foundational, or equivalent cloud/networking credentials
- Cloud Knowledge: Exposure to public or hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP)
- Fundamental understanding of core routing and switching concepts, including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, subnets, ACLs, and NAT
- Hardware Configuration: Ability to configure enterprise-grade network hardware with structured guidance
- Practical Network Implementation: Direct contribution to network deployment or implementation in a production environment (via internships, academic projects, or previous jobs)
