Job Description

Oracle has announced a fresh hiring notification for 2026, opening applications for the position of Support Engineer 1 (Individual Contributor – IC1) at their technology campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is highly suited for entry-level professionals and freshers with 0 to 2+ years of experience who want to build a long-term technical career within enterprise cloud and data solutions. Selected candidates will serve as foundational technical pillars, assisting global customers with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and utilizing cutting-edge AI support mechanisms.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Solution Delivery: Act as a responsive initial point of contact to maintain, build, and foster proactive relationship management with enterprise clients. Isolate and troubleshoot basic client-side application issues linked to assigned Oracle modules, providing direct fixes or system workarounds. Recreate customer technical conditions and system behaviors inside sandbox networks to diagnose underlying bugs with minimal direct guidance. Escalate high-severity or structural architectural bugs to tier-2 or backend engineering teams while retaining customer communication updates.
  • Technical Documentation & Process Optimization: Document granular chronological actions inside client service logs and internal tracking systems up to successful case resolution. Learn to compile comprehensive troubleshooting playbooks, continuous runbooks, and public Knowledge Base articles for common bugs. Leverage internal AI diagnostic assistance toolsets and automation layers to fast-track system analytics. Analyze recurring support insights to suggest system upgrades, workflow refinements, and operational procedure corrections.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Learning: Fulfill day-to-day tickets and manage personal performance tracking scores under operational supervisor review. Assist peripheral deployment teams, internal stack stakeholders, and product squads to manage complex ecosystem deployments. Actively incorporate feedback and leverage technical corporate training channels to master upcoming application architectures and industry trends.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Graduation or Post-Graduation in engineering streams (B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, MCA) or standard technical fields with strong foundational knowledge of computing systems.

Experience: Structured for professionals ranging from 0 to 2+ years of exposure. Strong freshers who demonstrate technical analytical abilities are highly encouraged to apply.
