Job Description
Birlasoft is hiring freshers for the OTM Techno-Functional Consultant role, suitable for graduates interested in Oracle Transportation Management, Supply Chain, ERP, enterprise applications, business analysis, and consulting. Selected candidates will gain exposure to Oracle Transportation Management and enterprise supply chain processes. The position involves assisting with requirement gathering, supporting solution design and configuration, and participating in software testing and deployment activities. You will also support production issues, incident resolution, and enhancement requests, while collaborating with business users and technical teams. This role offers the opportunity to learn emerging Oracle Cloud and Supply Chain technologies and utilize AI tools to improve productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
- OTM & Supply Chain Learning: Learn Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functionality, business processes, and best practices.
- Consulting Support: Assist with requirement gathering and analysis. Support solution design and configuration activities.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in software testing and deployment activities. Support production issues, incident resolution, and enhancement requests.
- Documentation: Prepare functional specifications and technical documentation. Create user guides and other project documentation.
- Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders. Participate in system integration and data validation activities. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Continuous Learning: Learn emerging Oracle Cloud and Supply Chain technologies. Use AI tools to improve productivity in documentation, analysis, testing, and solution development.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA candidates specializing in Operations, Supply Chain, Systems, or Business Analytics can also apply. Candidates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible.
Experience: Freshers
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
- Programming fundamentals
- Supply Chain and Logistics processes
- ERP and enterprise applications
- Oracle Cloud
- APIs, XML, JSON, and integration concepts
- Business process analysis
- Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude
- Basic prompt engineering concepts
Competencies:
