Job Description
Birlasoft is hiring freshers for the role of OTM Techno-Functional Consultant in Pune. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech or MBA qualifications from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible to apply. This opportunity is suitable for graduates interested in Oracle Transportation Management, Supply Chain, ERP, enterprise applications, business analysis, and consulting. Candidates with basic knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, ERP concepts, or Generative AI tools can have an advantage. The selected candidates will receive exposure to Oracle Transportation Management and enterprise supply chain processes, assisting with requirement gathering, solution design, and software testing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Learning OTM: Learn Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functionality, business processes, and best practices.
- Requirement & Design: Assist with requirement gathering and analysis; Support solution design and configuration activities.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in software testing and deployment activities.
- Support: Support production issues, incident resolution, and enhancement requests.
- Documentation: Prepare functional specifications and technical documentation; Create user guides and other project documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
- Integration: Participate in system integration and data validation activities; Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Emerging Technologies: Learn emerging Oracle Cloud and Supply Chain technologies; Use AI tools to improve productivity in documentation, analysis, testing, and solution development.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA candidates specializing in Operations, Supply Chain, Systems, or Business Analytics can also apply. Candidates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible. Candidates should have a good academic record.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases (Preferred).
- Programming fundamentals (Preferred).
- APIs, XML, JSON, and integration concepts (Preferred).
- Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude (Preferred).
- Basic prompt engineering concepts (Preferred).
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn enterprise applications and supply chain business processes.
- Interest in Oracle Cloud and enterprise technology solutions.
- Supply Chain and Logistics processes (Preferred).
