Job Description

Philips India has announced an active hiring notification for its 2026 Internship Program, seeking dynamic and technically sound candidates for the role of Software Developer Engg-Intern. This position is based out of Philips' cutting-edge healthcare technology hub in Bangalore (Bengaluru). The internship is specifically designed for enthusiastic tech students currently enrolled in a University, College, or Vocational engineering program. No prior professional workspace experience is required, making this an ideal gateway to launch a career in corporate health technology engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Software Engineering Support: Assisting engineering teams in coding, documenting, and optimizing technical software components built for advanced health systems.
  • Agile Team Integration: Collaborating closely with internal tech leads, system architects, and cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
  • Professional Evolution: Gaining practical, hands-on understanding of enterprise software architectures, cloud services integration, and industry-standard deployment structures.
  • Quality Assurance Alignment: Participating in modular code reviews, runtime diagnostics, and platform validation tests.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Candidates must hold a High School Diploma and possess an active, verified student status/enrollment at an accredited University, Technical College, or Vocational Institute specializing in computer tracks.

Experience: No prior industry experience is required. Freshers with strong academic engineering projects are highly encouraged to apply.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Fundamental knowledge of core software development logic, algorithms, object-oriented concepts, and programming structures

Competencies:
