Job Description
Dassault Systèmes is hiring for a QA Engineer position in Pune, Maharashtra. The role combines engineering domain knowledge with software quality assurance, manual GUI testing, regression testing, and automation. The position is particularly relevant for candidates who have completed an M.E/M.Tech research project in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and have worked with simulation tools such as PowerFLOW, Abaqus, Fluent, or CFX. Candidates will work with development, physics R&D, application management, product management, and validation teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review: Enhancement specifications and provide early feedback on requirements.
- Create: Detailed test plans for new and existing product functionality.
- Evaluate: Simulation software functionality against defined requirements.
- Execute: Test plans and document test results.
- Integrate: Appropriate tests into regression test suites.
- Run: Regression suites across supported operating systems and platforms.
- Analyze: Regression test failures and identify potential defects.
- Report: Software bugs and track their resolution.
- Perform: Manual GUI testing.
- Develop and execute: Automated tests.
- Document: Test procedures, test cases, and testing activities.
- Work closely: With development teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Collaborate: With physics R&D and application management teams.
- Interact: With product management and validation teams.
- Contribute: To improving software quality and testing processes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering. Focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation.
