Job Description
For the Qualcomm Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking an Associate Engineer to assist in the design, development, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are ready to apply their software knowledge to real-world products. You will work under supervision to design and implement small software features, perform unit testing, and fix minor bugs. The role involves collaboration with project teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meeting quality standards through code reviews and regression testing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Designing and implementing small software features for embedded and cloud edge products.
- Validation: Participating in unit testing, regression tests, and minor debugging fixes.
- Code Quality: Assisting in code reviews and triaging issues to ensure high-quality code.
- Analysis: Assisting in the analysis of user needs and software requirements.
- Documentation: Writing technical documentation for software projects.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with others inside the project team to accomplish objectives.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Freshers (Entry-level).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey factual information.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring planning, problem-solving, and prioritization.
- Basic knowledge of Software Engineering principles.
- Familiarity with C/C++ or Python (Preferred for embedded roles).
