Job Description
Qualcomm has launched its 2026 off-campus recruitment drive, offering an excellent opportunity for technical graduates to join as an Engineer – Compiler Development. This role is ideally structured for freshers holding B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, or BCA degrees who want to build a deep engineering career within foundational software engineering, embedded environments, and system-level applications. The position is based at Qualcomm's state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad, India.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Engineering: Apply software engineering knowledge to assist and support the design, creation, modification, development, and system validation of embedded software and cloud edge software infrastructure.
- Analysis & Design: Assist senior engineers in analyzing technical user requirements and high-level software functional specs.
- Development: Design, code, and implement smaller software features for Qualcomm’s core system products.
- Testing & Integration: Participate actively in structural unit testing, minor debugging fixes, and code integration efforts to ensure product milestones are met on schedule.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in performing code reviews and automated regression tests, alongside triaging system issues to ensure code stability.
- Documentation: Write and update clear technical documentation for assigned software engineering projects.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Must possess a completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field from a recognized university. Open primarily to the latest graduating freshers with strong foundational knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and system programming.
Experience: Freshers (0 Years).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong logic-driven programming fundamentals
- Exposure to software architecture principles
Competencies:
- Familiarity with foundational compiler concepts, embedded architectures, or cloud edge computing environments (highly advantageous)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
