Job Description
Qualcomm Recruitment 2026 is hiring for an Engineer – Product Security position in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role is part of the Engineering Group under Software Engineering and focuses on AI-driven security automation, static analysis, vulnerability detection and developer productivity. The selected engineer will work on next-generation security and software quality solutions, including Python-based automation tools, AI and LLM integrations, static analysis workflows and intelligent developer tools. The position also provides exposure to software security, CI/CD, source-code analysis and advanced techniques such as symbolic execution and fuzzing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Develop software solutions for AI-assisted security and static analysis workflows.
- Tooling: Build and maintain Python-based tools, automation frameworks and backend services.
- AI Integration: Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into engineering workflows and developer tools.
- Analysis: Analyze static analysis findings and improve issue classification, triage and remediation.
- System Interaction: Work with source code, build systems, CI/CD pipelines and software development tools.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform testing and debugging.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related field.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Knowledge of Git version control
- Basic understanding of software security, static analysis or secure coding practices
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with AI, Large Language Models, Generative AI or Agentic AI (Generative AI concepts, LLM-based applications, AI-assisted developer tooling, Agent-based workflows, AI-powered security automation, Intelligent code analysis and remediation)
- Preferred: REST APIs, Databases, Cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, Automation frameworks, Klocwork, Parasoft, Semgrep, Symbolic execution, Fuzzing, Vulnerability research
