Job Description

Qualcomm is actively recruiting for the profile of Engineer at its technical development center in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This engineering role is designed for professionals with a degree in engineering or computer science and hands-on experience in software development, embedded systems, databases, and source code management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Apply software engineering principles to support the design, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, utility applications, and tools.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze user requirements and technical specifications to build small software features for Qualcomm platforms.
- Feature Delivery & Testing: Participate in software design, unit testing, feature coding, minor bug fixing, and integration efforts to meet delivery schedules.
- Code Quality: Assist with peer code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging to ensure high software quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal project team members to achieve shared technical goals and milestones.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for software projects.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years of practical experience with programming languages, database management software, API integration, and source code management tools.
