Salesforce is hiring for the position of Associate Technical Consultant in Bangalore and Hyderabad. Candidates graduating in 2026 with a B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or an equivalent field can apply for this opportunity. The role is designed for early-career software engineers who want to build a career in Salesforce development, technical consulting, application integration, data migration, front-end development, and enterprise software solutions. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 CGPA with no backlogs and between 0–12 months of work experience. Strong JavaScript and front-end skills are required, along with knowledge of Java, C++, or Node.js, object-oriented programming, relational databases, networking, and MVC architecture. The role involves developing Salesforce solutions, supporting client implementations, debugging complex technical issues, working with source control and deployment processes, and collaborating with global Salesforce teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development: Developing complex Salesforce solutions for customers using Salesforce products, APIs, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration technologies.
- Technical Delivery Management: Managing technical delivery across Salesforce implementation activities, including standard Salesforce configurations, custom development, data migration, integration work, testing, and deployment.
- Data Migration: Taking responsibility for data migration elements of Salesforce implementations, including data mapping, validation, transformation, duplicate handling, and migration testing.
- Source Code Management: Familiarity with source code, version management, and code deployment standards (repositories, branches, commits, pull requests, merge conflicts, code reviews, release management).
- Issue Debugging: Debugging complex technical issues through a systematic approach (reproducing the problem, reviewing logs or errors, isolating components, identifying root cause, implementing a fix).
- Customer & Team Collaboration: Collaborating with customers and product teams to gather requirements, translate them into solutions, and support successful implementations.
- Global Team Collaboration: Working effectively with global Salesforce teams and stakeholders.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech graduating in 2026 in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or an equivalent field. 7 CGPA and above, no backlogs.
Experience: 0–12 months of work experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong JavaScript and front-end development skills (fundamentals, functions, objects, asynchronous programming, DOM concepts, API integration, basic browser behavior).
- Strong knowledge of Java, C++, or Node.js (variables, data types, control flow, functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, error handling, debugging).
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (classes, objects, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction).
- Basic knowledge of relational database management systems (tables, primary and foreign keys, relationships, SQL queries, joins, indexes, basic normalization).
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and HTTPS (IP addresses, TCP connections, HTTP and HTTPS, ports, DNS, client-server communication).
- Understanding of MVC architecture (Model, View, Controller separation).
Competencies:
- Familiarity with Salesforce development technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components) and APIs.
- Understanding of ETL and integration technologies.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
