Job Description
This is a 24-month structured development program designed to groom you into a Regional Demand & Inventory Planner role within Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR). Your main responsibilities will include supporting sales planning through data-driven forecasting and business insights, analyzing and challenging forecasts to improve accuracy, and managing demand variations to ensure optimal inventory levels. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product availability and contribute to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and regional planning activities, gaining exposure to real-world supply chain, inventory, and customer dynamics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- EHS Support: Ensure safety, employees’ health, and support all EHS initiatives along with other managers & maintain communication.
- Sales Planning Support: Support sales planning through data-driven forecasting and business insights.
- Forecast Analysis: Analyse and challenge forecasts to improve accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Manage demand variations and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product availability.
- Planning Contribution: Contribute to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and regional planning activities.
- Exposure: Gain exposure to real-world supply chain, inventory, and customer dynamics.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
Experience: Freshers (Entry-level experience)
