As a Scholar Trainee in the Wipro SIM program, you will be part of Wipro’s IT Infrastructure Management team. You will handle critical IT operations while pursuing your B.Tech studies on weekends or designated study hours.
This program is designed to prepare the best Diploma holders to face the challenges of the dynamic Information Technology world by providing training in both platform skills and behavioral skills.
Stipend Breakdown for Wipro SIM 2026
The program offers a progressive stipend structure over the 4-year duration:
- 1st Year: Rs. 12,400 per month
- 2nd Year: Rs. 15,488 per month
- 3rd Year: Rs. 17,553 per month
- 4th Year: Rs. 19,618 per month
Eligibility Criteria for Wipro SIM 2026
To be eligible for Wipro SIM 2026, candidates must meet the following strict criteria:
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma in:
- Computer Science / Information Technology
- Electronics / Telecommunication
- Computer Engineering / Computer Technology
- Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics
- Academic Score: Minimum 50% in 10th, 12th, and Diploma.
- Mathematics: Mandatory to have studied Core Mathematics as one subject in Diploma. (Business/Applied Maths not considered).
- Backlogs: Maximum of one backlog allowed at the time of assessment (must be cleared by 6th semester).
- Gaps: Maximum 3 years gap allowed between 10th and Diploma start.
- Citizenship: Indian Citizen (or PIO/OCI cardholder). Bhutan/Nepal nationals need citizenship certificates.
