Job Description
Siemens Gamesa Recruitment 2026 is inviting applications for the position of Intern – Software Development and Testing in Bangalore, Karnataka. This internship is suitable for students currently pursuing B.Tech or M.Tech in engineering disciplines such as Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related fields. The Siemens Gamesa internship provides an opportunity to work with engineering teams developing software tools and workflows for advanced wind turbine control technologies. Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Assist in designing and programming functions in MATLAB and Python for automated reporting and controller validation workflows.
- Testing & Validation: Support testing and validation of new and existing software tools; Help ensure software functionality, reliability and performance.
- Debugging: Collaborate with engineers to debug software and improve tool performance.
- Automation & CI/CD: Support the implementation and improvement of automated build, test and CI/CD procedures.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining technical documentation, user guides and development notes.
- Reporting & Certification: Support the creation of data analysis reports and technical presentations; Assist with preparation of controller certification documents.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.Tech (3rd/4th Year) or M.Tech (1st Year) in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience: No prior professional work experience is required.
