Job Description
The team is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Technician to learn and develop skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware systems. In this role, you will work closely with experienced technicians and gain exposure to a wide range of enterprise-level IT components. You will be heavily involved in providing support to end-users, assisting in diagnosing technical issues, and participating in the installation and configuration of critical network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations in high-pressure environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Hardware Support: Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues. Perform routine maintenance and replace faulty components.
- Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and test computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Network Maintenance: Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of network security systems, including the installation of computer networks.
- Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues involving routers, switches, and firewalls, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
- End-User Support: Provide technical support to end-users in a timely and efficient manner, collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inventory.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Diploma, Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc), or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Freshers with a passion for technology.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and systems.
- Fundamental knowledge of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
