Job Description
For the Oracle Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Software Developer 1. In this role, you will apply basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, and designing software applications.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. This is an individual contributor role (IC1) where you will build enhancements within an existing software architecture under guidance.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer 1 at Oracle, your key responsibilities will include:
- Development: Designing, coding, and developing software programs for databases and applications.
- Troubleshooting: Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure system stability.
- Enhancements: Building enhancements within existing software architectures according to design specifications.
- Collaboration: Working with the software engineering division to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Learning: Continuously learning new technologies and applying basic software architecture knowledge.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Oracle Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience (IC1 Level).
- Mandatory Technical Skills (Preferred):
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
- Solid understanding of SQL and Database concepts (RDBMS).
- Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts (OCI/AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
