Akamai is officially inviting applications for the Software Engineer role. This is a phenomenal opportunity for Freshers (0-3 years experience) to work within a world-class IT DevOps Engineering team. Located in Bangalore, you will be responsible for building scalable, maintainable code and developing automation solutions that drive global efficiency. You will focus on writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to the industry's best coding standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional business units to design, deploy, and maintain applications that serve diverse stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy: Robust applications to support various business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve: Complex application-related issues and bugs.
- Collaborate: With system operators to analyze and implement new technical requirements.
- Ensure: All code is written to be scalable, maintainable, and free of defects.
- Maintain: A high standard of coding practices and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform: Multitasking to handle multiple urgent situations and project deadlines simultaneously.
- Partner: With DevOps teams to bring efficiency through innovative automation tools.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years of experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Exceptional Object-Oriented (OO) programming skills and strong competency in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Familiarity with at least one OO language such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and database management.
