The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
- Delivery: Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- Collaboration: Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Security: Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Leadership/Individual Contributor: Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. For individual contributors, lead collaborative assignments and guide team members, identifying new directions for projects and consulting on complex issues.
- Risk Management: Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Analysis & Communication: Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively. Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech
Experience: Experienced in building integrations with Salesforce and APIs. Strong background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce in a development and configuration, LWC development experience is must.
- Extensive development experience using Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Experienced in building integrations with Salesforce and APIs with the Salesforce platform.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Visualforce.
- Good understanding of how to design and build Omni Scripts.
