Job Description

The organization is actively seeking applications for the position of Software Engineer I at its primary technology hub in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This engineering role is designed for early-career developers and graduates who want to build high-performance distributed systems, cloud data platforms, and next-generation financial architectures. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Software Deployment: Design, write, code-review, and unit-test scalable software systems and applications under the direct technical stewardship of senior architects.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate in active sprint check-ins, breakdown comprehensive user stories, map out code dependencies, and shape feature milestones in a standard Agile environment.
  • API Architecture: Create, document, and support production-ready microservices and robust RESTful APIs using contemporary backend frameworks.
  • Quality Engineering: Partner closely with specialized Product, Quality Assurance, and Database teams to manage automated software verification testing and resolve complex production defects.
  • Troubleshooting: Conduct diagnostics, identify runtime application performance drops, and optimize existing structural algorithms.
  • Technical Documentation: Build out granular application architecture logs, update core knowledge wikis, and share best practices with peer team members.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Possession of a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a closely allied technical discipline. An advanced master's degree configuration is a preferred highlight.

Experience: 0.5+ Years (Open to Freshers with Internship/Project Exposure)

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Programming Foundations: Strong command of fundamental data structures, design patterns, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies
  • Cloud Architecture: Exposure to modern cloud ecosystems such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure, alongside services like BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage
  • Big Data Frameworks: Foundational knowledge of scalable data infrastructures involving Apache Spark, Scala, Hive, or relational SQL platforms
  • Data Lifecycle Management: A clear grasp of standard Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) paradigms, relational data modeling, and streaming data processing architectures
  • DevOps Tools: Familiarity with version control frameworks via Git, build automation tools like Maven, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Jenkins engines
  • Web Ecosystems: Basic understanding of standard Unix/Linux environments, HTTP communication lifecycles, and RESTful API integrations

Competencies:

  • Familiarity with building operational dashboards, visualizations, and summary scorecards inside Power BI
  • Working clarity with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query configurations, and metadata governance structures to help drive business analytics pipelines
