Job Description
This is a full-time software engineering opportunity designed specifically for final-year Class of 2026 students who are Indian nationals currently studying at universities in the United States. The role focuses on building scalable software solutions and provides exposure to AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, consumer applications and large-scale technology systems. Candidates should have strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++ or JavaScript along with knowledge of data structures, algorithms and system design.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop and deploy scalable software systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, design and data teams to build technology solutions.
- AI/ML Engineering: Solve engineering challenges involving artificial intelligence and machine learning integrations.
- Cloud Engineering: Contribute to solutions involving cloud infrastructure and scalable application platforms.
- Data Platforms: Work with data-intensive systems and technology platforms used at large scale.
- Consumer Applications: Contribute to software that improves customer experiences.
- Agile Development: Participate in agile development cycles and engineering workflows.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and maintain software engineering quality standards.
- Innovation: Take part in innovation sprints and explore new technologies and approaches.
- Large-Scale Engineering: Work on technology that supports Walmart's global retail ecosystem.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent.
