Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Software Engineer, Infrastructure role, candidates must meet the following specific requirements.
Educational Qualification
- Degree: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced environment. This is not a fresher (0 years) role.

Roles and Responsibilities – Software Engineer, Infrastructure
As a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) at Notion, your responsibilities will include:
- System Building & Maintenance
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Notion’s critical infrastructure systems (e.g., async task runner, configuration management).
- Write high-quality, reliable, and scalable code that powers Notion’s core product.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of production systems through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead efforts to debug and resolve complex production issues.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to understand their needs and provide infrastructure solutions that enable them to ship faster and more reliably.
- Collaborate with global teams to align on architectural decisions and best practices.
