Job Description
NatWest Group is looking for an associate-level Software Engineer to join their feature team in Bangalore. This role is open to B.E/B.Tech graduates with a solid background in software design, ReactJS, and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be instrumental in engineering software, scripts, and tools, collaborating with other engineers and business analysts. The position requires rapidly producing complex, high-quality software that adds tangible value to the business, working across the full software lifecycle from development to decommissioning.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Engineering: Engineering software, scripts, and tools, liaising with other engineers, architects, and business analysts.
- Development: Rapidly producing complex and critical software of high quality that adds tangible value to the business.
- Lifecycle Management: Working within permanent teams responsible for the full software life cycle: from initial development and enhancements to maintenance and eventual decommissioning.
- Collaboration & Optimization: Collaborating actively to optimize NatWest Group's software engineering capability.
- Implementation: Designing, producing, testing, and successfully implementing robust working software solutions.
- End-to-End Involvement: Working across the end-to-end lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and daily operations.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Strictly requires a B.E/B.Tech degree.
Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- A solid background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, with an understanding of how expertise supports customers
- Working experience with ReactJS, SQL Server, and the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and enterprise collaboration environments
- Experience with application development lifecycle tools, including testing, debugging, and bug tracking platforms
- Experience across multiple programming languages or low-code platforms, effectively driving automation and efficiency
- Experience in implementing programming best practices—especially concerning scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance
