Job Description:
For the FIS Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking a Software Test Analyst I to join their quality assurance team. This is a developing professional role where you will maintain records of test progress and generally perform single-function tasks under moderate supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining, and upgrading manual or automated test scripts and utilities.
- Performing usability testing for system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Writing complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Working in an Agile development environment alongside developers.
- Controlling and managing daily test activities and maintaining the test script library.
- Communicating testing activities and findings effectively in oral and written forms.
- Providing internal quality assurance and supporting mitigation strategies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Up to 3 years of demonstrated experience in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge may apply).
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Software Testing methods, tools, and technology.
- Database: Ability to write complex queries for primary database engines (SQL).
- Programming: Knowledge of at least one Object-Oriented Language (Java, C++, etc.).
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile processes and application development phases.
- Soft Skills: Strong analysis, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
