Job Description

For the QuEST Global Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Software Tester with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will translate user stories into test cases and ensure the best possible performance and quality of applications. The role involves executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) and potentially designing automation scripts. You will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and identify bugs.

Responsibilities

As a Software Tester at QuEST Global, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Test Execution: Executing all levels of testing including System, Integration, and Regression testing.
  • Test Creation: Translating user stories and use cases into comprehensive test cases.
  • Bug Reporting: Identifying bugs with a sharp eye for detail and reporting them to the development team.
  • Automation: Designing and developing automation scripts when needed to improve testing efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Assessing the functionality and overall user experience of the product.
  • Documentation: Providing timely diagnostics, support, and documentation for issues found.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for QuEST Global Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
  • Experience: Freshers are eligible.
  • Mandatory Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
    • Basic understanding of OS and Networking.
    • Ability to gather accurate requirements and prioritize tasks.
    • Working knowledge of scripting/programming languages.
  • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

    • Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure.
    • Knowledge in Power Transmission and electrical circuits (Domain specific).
