Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop, test and deploy software and reusable software components.
- Solution Implementation: Develop high-quality solutions using Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices and RESTful architecture.
- Quality Practices: Apply TDD and BDD practices to improve software quality and maintainability.
- Integration: Integrate applications with middleware and messaging technologies such as Kafka and Solace.
- Deployment: Support containerized application deployment using platforms such as Kubernetes or EKS.
- Version Control & CI: Use Git-based source control and continuous integration practices.
- Technical Analysis: Contribute to technical analysis, solution design, estimation and development planning.
- Code Review & Issue Resolution: Participate in code reviews and help resolve complex engineering issues.
- Risk Communication: Communicate risks, dependencies and technical concerns early.
- Collaboration: Work with technology teams, business analysts and product owners, clarify business and technical requirements, and deliver fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to solution design and delivery estimation, and share technical knowledge and recommend practical improvements.
- Compliance & Standards: Follow internal software delivery practices, implement and evidence applicable security controls, follow API governance, engineering, architecture and technology standards, and produce secure, maintainable and supportable code.
- Documentation: Maintain appropriate testing and technical documentation.
- Risk Management: Identify, escalate and help mitigate technology and delivery risks, and follow applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned from delivery outcomes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are listed as eligible.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Core Java and Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
- Microservice-based applications and RESTful services.
- Service-oriented architecture.
