Job Description
SymphonyAI Apprentice Software Engineer 2026 is an apprenticeship opportunity in Bengaluru for recent graduates and final-year students who want to begin their careers in software engineering. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and is part of the company's R&D Development Team. The Apprentice Engineer will work on next-generation Category Planning and Retail Analytics platforms, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise web applications, data-driven solutions, cloud-native architectures, and emerging AI or agentic workflows. The role offers practical experience across frontend, backend, API, and database layers while working with experienced engineers. The ideal candidate should have a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset and be comfortable investigating technical issues systematically.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Web Application Development: Assist in designing, developing, and enhancing web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and .NET/C#.
- API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following engineering best practices, applying object-oriented programming and .NET fundamentals.
- Debugging and Analysis: Debug issues using root-cause analysis and code tracing techniques, analyzing issues across application, API, and database layers.
- Data Engineering: Work with Azure, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments, supporting data pipelines, transformations, and analytics workflows.
- AI Insights: Assist with intelligent insights for category planning.
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, and QA teams in Agile environments.
- Problem Solving: Investigate technical issues systematically.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or Engineering. Recent graduates or final-year students are preferred.
Experience: Recent Graduates / Final-Year Students.
Mandatory Technical Skills:

- .NET development (strong foundation, OOP principles, backend architecture basics, REST API development and consumption)
- SQL (strong fundamentals, complex queries, joins, aggregations, performance-aware query design)
