Job Description
SymphonyAI Apprentice Software Engineer 2026 is an apprenticeship opportunity for recent graduates and final-year students who want to begin their careers in software engineering. The position is based in Bengaluru, India and is part of the company's R&D Development Team. The Apprentice Engineer will work on next-generation Category Planning and Retail Analytics platforms, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise web applications, data-driven solutions, cloud-native architectures and emerging AI or agentic workflows. The role offers practical experience across frontend, backend, API and database layers while working with experienced engineers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Web Application Development: Assist in designing, developing and enhancing web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript and .NET/C#.
- API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable and scalable code following engineering best practices.
- Object-Oriented Programming: Apply object-oriented programming and .NET fundamentals.
- Debugging: Debug issues using root-cause analysis and code tracing techniques.
- SQL Queries: Write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
- Issue Analysis: Analyze issues across application, API and database layers.
- Cloud & Data Environments: Work with Azure, SQL Server and Snowflake environments.
- Data Pipelines: Support data pipelines, transformations and analytics workflows.
- Intelligent Insights: Assist with intelligent insights for category planning.
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshooting: Participate in debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve frontend, backend and database issues.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and QA teams in Agile environments.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or Engineering. Recent graduates or final-year students are preferred.
Experience: Recent Graduates / Final-Year Students preferred
