Job Description
Are you a B.Sc graduate looking for an opportunity to start your career in a laboratory and research environment? Syngene is hiring for the position of Associate Executive in Bangalore. Candidates with a B.Sc qualification and relevant basic knowledge of chemistry can apply for this opportunity. This Syngene Recruitment 2026 opportunity is intended for freshers and involves supporting chemistry laboratory operations, maintaining laboratory consumables and chemicals, assisting chemists, reviewing laboratory registers, and supporting routine laboratory activities. The role also requires candidates to understand basic Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices and be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Candidates will work closely with chemists and will support laboratory activities during both regular and off-work hours. The position therefore suits graduates who are comfortable working in a structured laboratory environment and following safety procedures carefully. As an Associate Executive at Syngene, you will support the day-to-day operations of chemistry laboratories and assist chemists with routine laboratory activities. The position is designed for an early-career candidate who can work carefully, follow established procedures, maintain laboratory materials, and support chemists as required. The role also involves monitoring chemistry laboratories during off-work hours. This means candidates need to be comfortable working independently during night shifts and following laboratory safety procedures without compromising attention to detail. Because the role involves handling laboratory consumables, chemicals, and solutions, candidates should understand the importance of safety, documentation, accuracy, and accountability. The Associate Executive role is primarily a laboratory support position. The engineer or scientist conducting an experiment may require different chemicals, solutions, consumables, equipment, records, and operational support. The Associate Executive helps ensure that these routine requirements are handled accurately and on time. This can include preparing laboratory consumables, refilling chemicals and solutions, checking shift registers, supporting chemists during experiments, and monitoring laboratories during off-work hours. The role therefore requires consistency and discipline. A laboratory environment is highly process-driven, and even a routine support activity needs to be completed correctly because it can affect subsequent experiments and laboratory operations.
