Job Description

As an Associate Executive at Syngene, you will support the day-to-day operations of chemistry laboratories and assist chemists with routine laboratory activities. The position is designed for an early-career candidate who can work carefully, follow established procedures, maintain laboratory materials, and support chemists as required. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and timely refill laboratory consumables.
  • Prepare and refill chemicals and inorganic solutions as required.
  • Monitor chemistry laboratories during off-work hours.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and EHS requirements at all times.
  • Assist chemists with routine laboratory activities.
  • Review day-shift and night-shift laboratory registers.
  • Execute assigned tasks based on instructions and register entries.
  • Support chemists with regular laboratory activities.
  • Assist Chemists during hydrogenation reactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Communicate relevant observations or issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Take responsibility for assigned laboratory activities and complete them accurately.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.Sc qualification.

Experience: Freshers.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Chemistry: Basic knowledge of chemistry is required.
  • EHS: Fundamental understanding and awareness of Environment, Health, and Safety practices.

Competencies:

  • Laboratory Support: Willingness to assist chemists regularly.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts.
