Candidates will work closely with chemists and will support laboratory activities during both regular and off-work hours. As an Associate Executive at Syngene , you will support the day-to-day operations of chemistry laboratories and assist chemists with routine laboratory activities. The role also involves monitoring chemistry laboratories during off-work hours. This means candidates need to be comfortable working independently during night shifts and following laboratory safety procedures without compromising attention to detail. Roles and Responsibilities
- Laboratory Maintenance: Prepare and timely refill laboratory consumables. Prepare and refill chemicals and inorganic solutions as required.
- Monitoring: Monitor chemistry laboratories during off-work hours.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow laboratory safety procedures and EHS requirements at all times.
- Chemist Assistance: Assist chemists with routine laboratory activities. Assist Chemists during hydrogenation reactions.
- Documentation: Review day-shift and night-shift laboratory registers. Execute assigned tasks based on instructions and register entries.
- Environment Management: Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Communication: Communicate relevant observations or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Accountability: Take responsibility for assigned laboratory activities and complete them accurately.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.Sc qualification.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of chemistry
- Fundamental understanding and awareness of Environment, Health, and Safety practices (EHS)
