Job Description
This engineering role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in technical infrastructure, systems automation, and Linux internals looking to manage and scale massive infrastructure environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- System Design & Maintenance: Design, implement, test, and maintain robust systems and services, driving utility development with a high degree of autonomy.
- IAM Technical Leadership: Serve as a consultant and technical lead for identity-related initiatives within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain.
- Automation & Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate operational toil by creating automated solutions and continuous process improvements.
- Infrastructure Security: Partner with security engineers to plan and execute global infrastructure changes while ensuring seamless security transitions.
- Escalations & On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotations to provide guidance and technical resolution for escalations from support teams.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT-related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., system deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience with systems automation using languages such as Python or Go, along with systems design and implementation
- Solid experience with Linux operating system internals and administration, or networking, debugging, and troubleshooting
Competencies:
- Experience working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access management technologies
- Familiarity with standard software development workflows and pipelines
- Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and leadership skills
