Job Description
For the TCS Walk-in Drive 2026, the team is hiring Technical Support Representatives to handle data processing transactions and technical queries. The role requires candidates to handle international clients, necessitating excellent English proficiency. Candidates will undergo an English language proficiency assessment via the Versant tool. You must be willing to work in rotational shifts, with a majority being night and midnight shifts to support global time zones.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting: Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for customer queries.
- Communication: Handling voice and non-voice transactions with excellent spoken and written English.
- Shift Operations: Working in rotational shifts (primarily night shifts) to ensure 24/7 support availability.
- Process Adherence: Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data processing transactions.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Graduate and above (Any Stream).
Experience: Minimum 6 months to 6 years of experience is mandatory.
Competencies:
- Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Spoken).
- Minimum B2 Level proficiency as per the CEFR framework (assessed via Versant).
- Minimum 6 months of Technical Troubleshooting experience is good to have.
- Ability to work in any shifts, specifically night shifts.
