Job Description
Vedantu, a premier global EdTech innovator, is seeking energetic, technical, and client-centric professionals for the role of Technical Support Associate. Based at its corporate headquarters in Bangalore, India, this role involves critical engineering operations support, interfacing directly with customer ecosystems, system architectures, and live digital environments. The position is suitable for both fresh graduates entering corporate IT and experienced technical support executives looking to advance their careers within Vedantu's interactive cloud classrooms and advanced virtual education suites.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Omnichannel Resolution Management: Deliver comprehensive tier-1 and tier-2 technical assistance across multiple support flows like email queues, corporate telephony lines, live text chats, helpdesk ticketing setups, and remote configuration sessions.
- System Triage: Inspect, diagnose, and clear persistent performance bottlenecks linked to software application anomalies, operational hardware faults, browser conflicts, or localized network delays.
- End-to-End Ownership: Maintain absolute responsibility over customer incident timelines, following up with internal technical groups and external clients systematically until complete structural resolution is confirmed.
- Value Addition Operations: Oversee internal product demonstration bookings using corporate automation consoles.
- FinTech and Operational Alignments: Handle specific transaction matching, subscription processing, and system platform verification updates.
- Knowledge Architecture: Log, classify, and create detailed case documentation capturing distinct issue definitions, structural fixes applied, and systemic customer interactions.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree completion across any technical or non-technical discipline. Preferred: B.E / B.Tech, B.Sc (Computer Science, IT, or Electronics), M.Sc (Computer Science / IT), or professional graduate certificate representing robust underlying knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting frameworks.
Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with cross-platform operating system troubleshooting routines encompassing Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux infrastructures
- Familiarity with diagnosing desktop computers, personal laptops, modern smartphones, and tablets
- Understanding of web browsing technologies, network cookie paths, data caching configurations, and standard mobile applications
- Capability to manage custom configurations on end-user hardware, including iPhones, iPads, Android tablets, MacBooks, and Windows systems
- Operational competency inside office productivity packages such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications
Competencies:
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Refined analytical, deep-dive root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting capability
- Strong customer-focused mindset with high empathy and attention to customer query details
- Multilingual fluency or command over any extra international or regional language (Major advantage)
