Job Description

For the Thomson Reuters Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for an Associate QA Engineer who is ready to embrace the future of testing. Unlike traditional QA roles, this position specifically requires experience with latest AI tools like Cline and Claude code to enhance testing efficiency. You will be responsible for executing testing solutions, creating functional test cases utilizing AI capabilities, and integrating test suites with AWS CI pipelines. This is an excellent role for those who want to blend Automation Testing with Generative AI.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • AI-Driven Testing: Enabling AI-enabled QA processes like test case generation and regression identification based on code changes.
  • Automation: Developing, executing, and maintaining automated regression test suites using Selenium, Postman, and JMeter.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrating test suites with AWS or Azure DevOps pipelines and monitoring daily execution.
  • Database Testing: Performing CRUD operations and testing on SQL databases ( MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB ).
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting senior QA Engineers on complex projects.
  • Agile Delivery: Working effectively in agile environments and participating in ceremonies.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Must be a B.E / B.Tech graduate.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Experience with latest AI tools (Cline, Claude code).
  • Exposure to test automation tools: Selenium, Postman, JMeter.
  • Proficiency in automated testing for web applications across browsers.
  • Knowledge of SQL database testing (CRUD operations).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (AWS/Azure).
