Job Description
Tieto (Tietoevry), a leading European technology and software development company, has announced its 2026 Recruitment Drive for software engineering professionals. Tieto is actively seeking applications for the role of Software Engineer – Tieto Caretech at its development facility in Pune. Candidates with B.E / B.Tech degrees possessing 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development using C# .NET, Angular, SQL, and container technologies are encouraged to submit their applications. Roles and Responsibilities
- Development: Work as an independent full-stack developer delivering scalable software features for application requirements. Design, write, and maintain clean, testable, and reliable C# .NET backend and Angular/React frontend code.
- Integration: Implement robust API endpoints and integrate backend microservices with relational database layers.
- Quality & Performance: Incorporate implicit non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, security) into daily engineering workflows.
- Collaboration: Participate in agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, and share technical knowledge across team members.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant technical fields.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in full-stack application development.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and Web API microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience developing intuitive web interfaces using Angular or React, CSS, and HTML.
- Strong proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and SQL Server.
- Solid principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), software design patterns, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, and security.
- Practical exposure to Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Good knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and maintainable code practices right from initialization.
Competencies:
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot (Good-to-Have).
- Active experience working in Lean-Agile software development teams (Good-to-Have).
- Design thinking mindset with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions (Good-to-Have).
- Strong analytical reasoning, structured problem-solving, and cross-team communication abilities (Good-to-Have).
