Job Description

For the TJX Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is launching an immersive learning program designed for their global Early in Career cohort. The initial portion of your journey will focus on getting you up to speed with TJX IT operations, followed by deep exposure to the software engineering lifecycle. Depending on your interests, expertise, and business needs, you will be invited to focus on one of several possible pathways: Platform Engineering, Data and Automation Solutions, Security Engineering, Software Development, or Product Configuration. You will collaborate with experienced technology engineers to identify and build innovative solutions for all aspects of this global business.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Solution Engineering: Design, code, and test innovative technology solutions that enhance global platforms.
  • Agile Collaboration: Collaborate autonomously and in groups with experienced engineers in an Agile environment to tackle challenges and advance projects.
  • Global Partnership: Partner with the Global IT organization across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
  • Process Improvement: Review and evolve current technical processes while learning about TJX’s specific business technologies.
  • Presentation: Participate in cross-functional group projects, present your technical solutions, and share your work throughout the organization.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Must be a 2024 or 2025 graduate who has fully completed their degree. Minimum CGPA of 7.0 (or equivalent) with no active or pending backlogs.

Experience: Minimum of 3 months of internship or academic projects demonstrating applied engineering learning.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals
  • Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL

Competencies:

  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve problems
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn the "Agile Mindset"
  • Strong leadership abilities, a good work ethic, and a passion for thriving in a global engineering environment
