Job Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Tools & Automation Engineer for its Bengaluru location. This onsite role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0-2 years of experience to design, develop, and troubleshoot software enhancements for a global tech leader. You will contribute to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts, exercising independent judgment within defined parameters, and acting as a team member by providing analysis and recommendations. The role involves coding and programming enhancements for various software systems, executing test plans, and identifying and debugging issues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Testing & Debugging: Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
- Collaboration: Develop an understanding of and relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Project Contribution: Participate as a member of a project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Experience: Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
