Job Description
For the United Airlines Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking an Associate Engineer to join their Digital Technology team. While the role supports the broader aviation ecosystem, the core focus is on Software Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure Automation. As an Associate Engineer, you will assist in building CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, and automating processes using Python or Shell scripting. You will collaborate with developers and IT teams to improve software delivery workflows.
Roles and Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning: Support cloud infrastructure provisioning (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Performance & Security Monitoring: Monitor application performance and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Automation Scripting: Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshooting & Improvement: Troubleshoot deployment issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience: Freshers (0-0 years)
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of SDLC and DevOps principles.
- Exposure to Git.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line and basic shell scripting.
- Eagerness to learn cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Competencies:
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
