Job Description
UPS Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the Associate Software Quality Engineer position in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role is part of the Information Technology function and is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The Software Quality Engineer will support Information Services quality assurance processes, identify problems, evaluate possible solutions and execute software testing activities. The position involves collaboration with QA teams, application developers, software vendors, consultants, users and technical support teams. Roles and Responsibilities
- QA Process Execution: Execute Information Services Quality Assurance processes with moderate guidance.
- Problem Identification & Solutioning: Identify software problems and analyze potential solutions; Generate alternatives and recommend solutions within defined processes.
- Documentation: Document progress and status of assigned QA tasks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with QA team members during testing activities; Work with application developers to identify and resolve software quality issues; Coordinate with software vendors, consultants and user communities when required; Work with test-environment technical support staff.
- Testing Activities: Execute testing procedures for applications and systems; Support testing efforts involving small to medium complexity.
- Domain Knowledge: Develop knowledge of important business processes and technology relevant to supported functions.
