Vedantu is inviting online applications for the position of Social Media Intern at its office in Pune, Maharashtra. As a Social Media Intern at Vedantu, you will work closely with the core marketing team to manage social media handles, craft creative visual content, write engaging captions, and track audience engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Content Management: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across key social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Copywriting: Write creative captions, headlines, and social media copy aligned with Vedantu's brand voice and tone.
- Visual Design: Design eye-catching social media graphics and visual assets using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express.
- Video Content: Assist the content production team in brainstorming, scripting, and editing Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Community Engagement: Monitor community engagement, track audience interactions, and respond promptly to comments and direct messages.
- Market Research: Conduct market research on viral social media trends, competitor strategies, and innovative content ideas.
- Performance Tracking: Track campaign performance metrics and help prepare basic performance reports for management review.
- Collaboration: Collaborate actively with the broader marketing and design teams on brand campaigns and promotional events.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, BA, B.Sc, BBA, MBA, or a related field.
Experience: Freshers / Students / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in design and video editing applications like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar visual tools.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of major social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook) and current digital content trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with creative thinking capabilities.
