Job Description
This entry-level opportunity at the HYD Campus in Hyderabad is for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who have strong Java programming knowledge and an interest in IT infrastructure, automation and system support. The position combines infrastructure management with software development. Candidates will work with areas such as servers, networks, databases, applications, Java automation, system monitoring, troubleshooting and infrastructure projects. Exposure to AWS or Azure, Python, Bash and DevOps practices is an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and applications.
- Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
- Automation: Develop scripts and tools using Java to automate infrastructure tasks.
- Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Project Participation: Participate in planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
- Documentation: Document infrastructure processes, procedures and configurations.
- Reliability & Performance: Support the reliability and performance of systems and applications.
- Repetitive Task Automation: Help automate repetitive infrastructure management activities.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience. Relevant internship or project experience in infrastructure management or software development is preferred.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Java programming language
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components
- Knowledge of servers, networks and databases
Competencies:
- Understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Python scripting (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Bash scripting (Preferred)
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (Preferred)
