Job Description
For the Wipro Off Campus Drive 2026, the engineering team is looking for a multifaceted Junior Associate Software Engineer. The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions, designs, models, and simulations utilizing various software tools as per the client's explicit project requirements. You will be working heavily with software like CAD and CAE to develop appropriate models, test prototypes, and perform rigorous boundary condition checks (such as impact and stress analysis). Additionally, you will integrate software components into fully functional systems while ensuring compliance with industry standard operating procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Modeling & Simulation: Work on CAD and CAE software to develop robust models and run virtual simulations to provide optimized solutions to clients.
- Prototyping & Testing: Create prototypes based on engineering drawings. Test prototypes against boundary conditions, including stress and impact analysis.
- Failure Analysis: Perform meticulous Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for any new requirements received from the client.
- Software Integration & DevOps: Integrate software components into a fully functional system. Deploy programs, troubleshoot existing systems, and utilize DevOps practices to maximize efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive software verification plans and quality assurance procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain repositories of design changes, ensure timely weekly/monthly status reporting, maintain timesheets, and provide written knowledge transfers.
- Customer Support: Evaluate user feedback, perform defect fixing, and solve support tickets raised by clients or software integration teams.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) in a relevant field.
Experience: Freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proven knowledge and fundamental understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software.
- Basic knowledge of running simulations and performing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and system upgrade capabilities.
