Job Description
For the Zensar Off Campus Drive 2026, the engineering team is looking for a Jr Software Engineer to focus heavily on frontend development. You will be tasked with understanding core business requirements and translating them into robust, interactive, and user-friendly web applications. Beyond standard coding, you will apply analytical and design thinking to solve complex UI/UX challenges. A fundamental understanding of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platform deployments is crucial as you will be responsible for end-to-end testing, deployment coordination, and post-release support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Thoroughly understand business and technical requirements to design appropriate frontend solutions.
- Application Development: Develop robust, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Testing & Support: Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility and provide ongoing technical support.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for developed modules and features.
- Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (backend developers, designers, product managers) and drive technical tasks to completion.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Must hold a B.E or B.Tech degree.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Very strong coding and testing skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Basic understanding of deploying and managing applications on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and design thinking capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in UI implementation.
