Job Description
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity designed for early-career technology professionals. The selected candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day Salesforce support, handling support tickets, monitoring platform performance, troubleshooting user issues, maintaining Salesforce data, and assisting with basic QA activities. This position combines Salesforce support, data management, troubleshooting, quality assurance, business analysis, and process improvement, making it broader than a conventional Salesforce administration role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Support and Issue Resolution: Monitor Salesforce platform performance and errors; Create bug tickets or take appropriate actions based on issue severity; Manage and resolve daily Salesforce support tickets; Provide timely responses and high-quality resolutions to business users; Perform basic Salesforce troubleshooting and diagnostic activities; Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or developers; Maintain communication with affected business stakeholders during escalations.
- Salesforce Data Management: Perform data import, update, export, and upsert operations; Use appropriate Salesforce data-management tools; Maintain data integrity and accuracy; Perform regular data cleanup and maintenance; Conduct data integrity checks on Salesforce records.
- Salesforce Administration Support: Provide operational Salesforce support; Manage user permissions where required; Perform basic configuration updates; Support business users with platform-related issues.
- Quality Assurance: Assist QA teams with smoke testing; Perform regression testing for support-related fixes and enhancements; Support testing for new features and bug fixes; Identify, track, and report defects.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a similar engineering or technical discipline from a government-approved university.
Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, or a related technology role.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic experience with Salesforce platform configuration
- Familiarity with Salesforce data-loading tools (Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, Import Wizard)
- Understanding of software delivery lifecycles
- Basic API testing knowledge (Postman)
- Database fundamentals and data integrity verification skills
