Job Description
Zycus Off Campus Drive 2026 is offering an internship opportunity for candidates who completed their degree in 2026 and are interested in enterprise IT support and IT operations. The company is hiring for the position of IT Support Engineer – Intern in Bangalore. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field can apply. The role is designed for early-career candidates and involves supporting day-to-day IT operations across Windows and macOS endpoints. The internship provides practical exposure to application installation, endpoint troubleshooting, connectivity issues, software deployment, ticket management, patch management and software compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- IT Support: Support day-to-day technical operations across Windows and macOS devices.
- User Issue Resolution: Help resolve user issues, manage support tickets, and assist with software deployment.
- Endpoint Management: Assist with installing, updating and uninstalling applications on Windows and macOS endpoints.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot common operating-system, application and connectivity problems reported by end users.
- IT Service Management: Support-ticket triage and resolution tracking using Freshservice or a similar ITSM tool.
- Compliance & Management: Assist with patch management and software compliance.
- Documentation: Assist with documenting standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides; Contribute to internal documentation and IT projects.
- AI Tools: Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT for technical assistance and problem-solving.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate IT projects with internal stakeholders.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (2026 Batch).
Experience: 0–1 Year.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Windows (basic administration and troubleshooting)
- macOS (hands-on comfort)
- Microsoft Entra ID (basic knowledge)
- ITSM tools (Freshservice or similar)
- AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT or similar)
Competencies:
- Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft fundamentals certification (MS-900, SC-900 or AZ-900) (preferred)
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or shell scripting) (preferred)
- Exposure to enterprise IT support practices (preferred)
- Interest in automation and IT operations (preferred)
